Episode Highlights
03:00 What are your thoughts on effective project sponsorship? Does project sponsorship really matter in successful projects?
10:54 Since we are discussing project management in the context of ERP organizational change, or digital transformation, we know that data migration is often not only a significant challenge but also significantly undermined. Do you have any words of wisdom in terms of effective management of the data migration process?
19:00 Do you have any thoughts on PM tools, whether it be Project Management software, Dashboards, mobility, real-time data availability, etc.?
23:00 Another one of your articles that I really appreciated is “Right and fast – Without skills, neither matter!” you state, “What is needed to do the right thing, do it right and do it faster?” You also share that “A lot of my clients come up with words like trust, purpose, people, attitude, teamwork, autonomy, communication among others.”But what is the real answer to this great question?
30:01 I know this conversation was a bit of a mixed bag to hit on some Effective ERP Transformation influences, but As fellow practitioners, we absolutely benefit from learning from our colleagues and friends, both “boots on the ground” as well as researchers. How would you summarize this conversation? What would you say to ERP organizational change practitioners?
