Brian Williamson Friends and colleagues,

Perpetual learning in the form of applied research can be a significant competitive advantage for organizational performance. On behalf of  friend, colleague, and fellow practitioner and researcher Brian D. Williamson, Nestell & Associates would like to invite you to participate in a study “researching the implications of employee trust in senior leadership on organizational performance”.

About Brian:

Brian is an expert in the discipline of strategic portfolio, program, and project management focused on transforming organizational performance to create a new relationship between business, society, the environment, capital, and purpose. Brian was the recipient of the PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Award of Excellence, recognized by the Connecticut General Assembly and the Governor of the State of Connecticut (with a Special Citation for innovations in the field of Project Management), and has received numerous citations from the Association for Project Management (U.K.), where he holds the honored designation of Fellow.

Why is Brian’s study relevant to organizational learning?

Organizational learning often promotes, and encourages, an innovative and creative mindset which is a real sustainable competitive advantage. As Brian states, “Data received from this research will empower corporate leaders to understand the impact of their interactions with their employees and the implications for CEO effectiveness and organizational performance… Employee trust of executive leadership is a critical element for organizations to achieve their strategic goals and objectives. Trust facilitates the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational performance.” Ideas, concepts, processes, and methods that work (or do not work) generally across organizations can offer practitioners insight into their own organizational performance goals. Professional practitioner’s utilizing and also trusting applied research results is critical because it can offer insight for reflection and improvement. Applied research is simply about continuous learning and improvement in terms of applying results to your current organizational context and conditions. We hope that you will consider supporting Brian in his effort to contribute to the field of organizational performance.
